Format Fax Storage
This setting allows the user to format non-volatile fax storage memory.
To perform this procedure:
1.
From the Configuration Menu, navigate to Format Fax Storage .
2.
Contents will be lost. Continue?
appears. Select Yes or No .
ADF Edge Erase
This menu item sets the size, in millimeters, of the no-print area around an ADF scan job. All copy jobs have a
two-millimeter minimum border. Copy jobs will use the setting or two millimeters, whichever is larger.
To adjust this setting:
1.
From the Configuration Menu, navigate to ADF Edge Erase .
2.
Select the setting.
3.
Touch to save the setting, or touch to return to the Configuration Menu without saving any
changes.
FB Edge Erase
This menu item sets the size, in millimeters, of the no print are around a flatbed scan job. All copy jobs have a
two- millimeter minimum border. Copy jobs will use the setting or two millimeters, whichever is larger
To adjust this setting:

From the Configuration Menu, navigate to FB Edge Erase .
2.
Select the setting.
3.
Touch to save the setting, or touch to return to the Configuration Menu without saving any
changes.
Disable Scanner
This setting allows the user to disable the scanner function of the printer.
To adjust this setting:
1.
From the Configuration Menu, navigate to Disable Scanner .
2.
Select the setting.
3.
Touch to save the setting, or touch to return to the Configuration Menu without saving any
changes.
USB Speed
This setting is used to set the throughput of the USB port on the printer. The settings are Auto, which is the
default, and Full. Full forces the USB port to run at full speed and also disables its high speed capabilities.
To change this setting:
1.
From the Configuration Menu, navigate to USB Speed .
2.
Select Full or Auto .
3.
Touch to save the setting, or touch to return to the Configuration Menu without saving any
changes.
