Clearing jams from the mailbox option

Remember to clear all paper from the entire paper path, not just the area
indicated in the paper jam message. See page 41 for more information.
Instructions for clearing jams from the mailbox begin on page 63.

Refer to the following illustration for a better understanding of the path the
paper travels through the transport unit to the mailbox option.

NOTE: If paper jams in the mailbox option recur, make sure the

mailbox cables are securely connected and the mailbox is
properly aligned with the printer. See page 177 for more
information.
