Transposition (Master
transpose)
The TRANSPOSE buttons are used to modify the
instrument pitch. The pitch is modified at 1-semitone
step every time you press the buttons.
The transposition is memorised in the arrangements
and the Keyboard Set. The use of the transposition
memorised in the arrangements and the Keyboard Set
can be locked with the “Master Transpose Lock”
parameter (see page 158).
Note:
The transposition will be postponed to the next
measure if the accompaniment is playing when the modi-
fications are made.

TRANSPOSE [ ] button repeatedly.
The indication of the current transposition will
appear when pressing the button for the first time.

Recalling the arrangement
programming
Press EXIT/NO in the main page (Page 1) of the
Arrangement Play mode while the accompaniment is
playing to recall the keyboard track programming
memorised in the arrangement.
For instance, if you have selected a Keyboard Set, cho-
sen a different Program, or transposed a track, the key-
board tracks will play differently from what originally
programmed in the arrangement. Press EXIT/NO
while the accompaniment is playing to recall the
arrangement original programming.
If you are not in the main page, press EXIT/NO to go
back to the main page and press it again to recall the
programming memorised in the arrangement.
Note:
The Recall Arrangement function works only while
the accompaniment is playing. The pressing of the EXIT/
NO button in Page 1 of the Arrangement Play mode will
have no effect if the accompaniment is not playing.
Selecting a Keyboard Set
By selecting a Keyboard Set in the Arrangement Play
mode, you can select the programs of the keyboard
tracks, the Keyboard Mode, the Keyboard Assign, the
Chord Scanning, the Master Transpose, the effects, as
well as other characteristics that would otherwise have
to be programmed one at a time.
