Backing Sequence mode

The Backing Sequence mode allows you to create a
song in a simple way, by recording it in real time with
the arrangements. You can playback the song in this
way or convert it in SMF and playback it in Song Play
or Song Edit mode. 

The main parts of the backing sequence are the key-
board track, the control track and the chord track. The
control track records the selection of the buttons in the
front panel (INTRO, ENDING, FILL…); the chord
track records the sequence of chords; the keyboard
track records the notes played on the keyboard (Upper

1, Upper 2, and Lower parts). Of course, you can leave
the keyboard track empty and play it live. 

Apart from these tracks, there are eight tracks called
Extra Track that can be used to record free parts to per-
sonalize the arrangement. 

The backing sequences are not maintained in the
memory when the instrument is turned off. Always
save them on disk before turning the instrument off
(see page 145).
