7.4.26 Error 41 Movement of T (cephalostat
sensor) motor failed
CAUSE A
There is a problem with the T position detection.
SOLUTION A
Use service program “cephstatus” to check the en-
coder status. Move the sensor back and forth and
verify that the encoder value changes. To resolve
an encoder or opto switch error, check the cable
between the opto board and the cephalostat CPU.
Replace parts if needed.
CAUSE B
The T movement is not working correctly.
SOLUTION B
The movement not working correctly may be due to
a fault in the
• motor,
• motor cable,
• R5100 Stepper driver module,
• cable between the stepper driver module and the
cephalostat CPU board.
Use service command “drivemotor T manual” to
test whether the motor is working properly. Check
for cables or other parts hindering the movement.
Inspect cables and connectors, and replace parts
one by one if needed.
