Error 37 Movement of R (Rotation)
motor failed
CAUSE A
The rotator is not moving correctly.
SOLUTION A
The movement not working correctly may be due to
a fault in the
• motor,
• motor cable,
• R5100 Stepper driver module,
• cable between the stepper driver module and the
CPU board or the
• R3300 IO board.
Use service command “drivemotor r manual” to test
whether the motor is working properly. If the chin
support is moving, the problem is probably in posi-
tion detection (see CAUSE B). Otherwise one of
the components listed above is faulty. Continue
with inspecting cables and connectors. Replace
parts one by one if needed.
CAUSE B
Position detection showing incorrect values.
SOLUTION B
Check that cable 204808 is properly connected to
Rotator opto board EB100. Reconnect or replace
the cable and/or opto board if needed. The opera-
tion of two of the opto switches can be checked with
service program “systemstatus” (signals “R outer
opto” and “R inner opto”)
CAUSE C
Faulty R3300 IO board.
SOLUTION C
Replace the R3300 IO board.
