Recording archive (Playing back/Editing recordings)

 Decrypt

The “Decrypt” option is only displayed if 
a recording was made from an encrypted 
channel with the “Decrypt: No” setting.

Press the 

 button to decrypt the record-

ing. The symbol for an encrypted recording 
(key) is marked with a red dot (see screen-
shot bottom right). When you next switch 
the receiver to standby, the recording will 
immediately be decrypted.

The receiver display shows the progress 
of the decryption. Wait to turn the receiver 
back on until decryption is complete and 
the receiver is in standby mode.

In the chapter “Main menu - Interfaces” under “Common Interface”, “Automatic decryption in 
standby” section, you can select “On”. All recordings which have been made with encryption will 
then be automatically decrypted in standby mode.
