Update Channel List
The process for updating the channel list via USB is exactly the same as that used for updating the software
(channel list name: channel.xml).
Save the channel list on a USB device
The receiver offers you the option of saving the channel list you are currently using to a USB device here so
that you can recover it later if required.
First connect your USB device to the receiver, using a free USB port on the receiver. Next select the “Save
Channel List to USB” fi eld and con fi rm you want to start saving by pressing the

button. During the sav-
ing process, you will see the “Update via a USB” menu displayed; however you cannot navigate within this
menu until the save process has been completed.
The function “Update Channel List” allows you to reload the channel list stored to the receiver at a later date,
should you so require.
The channel list “channel.xml” is copied to the USB storage medium using the follow-
ing folder structure:

Factory Reset
After calling up the menu, you will see the
following on-screen display:
Here you can restore the channel list and
the installation settings to the factory set-
tings. You can use the

buttons to
select the components you want to restore
to their factory settings. In each case, use
the

buttons to select “Yes” or No”.
In addition you can select whether, after restoration, the fi rst installation should be started automatically, as
with the initial set-up.
Once you have performed all the settings, use the

buttons to switch to the “Start reset” selection
fi eld and con fi rm you want to start using the

button. The components you selected will now be reset to
the status on delivery of the unit.
