Basic functions
One-Touch Recording (OTR)
To start recording directly to the hard disk, press the

button. The following on-screen display will appear
(example):
Use the

buttons to select the lines to be changed; make the changes using the

buttons.
Recording:
The following selection options are available:
- “From start”: Recording takes place from the time since the current channel has been watched with-
out interruption (option available only if automatic timeshift is activated)
- “As from now”: Recording takes place from the present time
- “Later”: Recording begins at the start time entered in the “Start” line
Start:
You only need to enter the start time for a recording if you have selected the recording type “Later”.
End:
The end of the recording is determined automatically by the receiver based on the available programme
guide data. If you wish, you can change this manually however.
Duration:
The duration of a recording is determined automatically by the receiver based on the start and fi nish times.
You can correct the duration manually however. In this case the receiver automatically adjusts the end time
to correspond to the new recording duration. The start time of the recording remains unchanged.
Decryption:
Here you can select whether the programme should be recorded unencrypted (select “Yes”) or encrypted
(select “No”) on the hard disk.
