Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)
Categories view
The “Categories” view can be called up at
any time in the EPG by pressing the

(blue) button.
In the “Category” view you can see all pro-
grammes sorted by category and starting
time.
You can select from the following main cate-
gories: Pick of the day, My picks (see “Extras
menu”), Movies, Entertainment, Sport,
News, Children's TV, Music, Special inter-
ests, Parental control and HD transmissions.
Some main categories are subdivided further into sub-groups such as movies (action, comedy, crime ...).
Programmes can only be assigned to the above categories if the EPG data has been supplied by tvtv or the
channel provider.
Select the required category using the

buttons.
You can also press the

(blue) button to
select the desired category. The list of cat-
egories will then be displayed (see screen-
shot right). Select the required category
using the cursor buttons (

). Con fi rm
your selection with the

button. The
receiver will automatically skip back to the
“Categories” view.
You can then use the cursor buttons (

) to select the desired programme in each category and, if avail-
able, you can use the

button to view further information on the desired programme.
The

button allows you to scroll backwards and forwards a day at a time.
Using the

button you can load the selected programme into the recording settings (see “Recording”
section).
