Connection for the external Pt100 sensor
The cable's shield must be electrically connected to both the sensor’s
sheath as well as the housing of the connector plug.
External sensor

and control. Only use
shielded sensors.
Check the plausibility of
the external temperature
measurement regularly
(about every 2-3 days), by
placing the Pt100 in a
state where the
temperature is already
known (e.g. in ambient air,
or a container of ice
water).

Disconnect the unit from the power supply prior to opening.
