Gas conversion
ATTENTION: the operations described below must be carried out only by qualified personnel
(authorized by the Manufacturer or by the local authority, if required by the regulation).
For gas conversion, use the nozzles supplied by boiler manufacturer only.
Using LPG, it is absolutely necessary to install a suitable pressure reducer upstream the boiler.
1. the boiler should be electrically powered and set in a mode different than . Use the but-
ton if necessary;
2. set the parameter 01 (see "PCB parameters settings (technician menu)" on page 27) on the re-
quired gas kind the boiler is required to work with:
• 0 = Natural gas (G20),
• 1 = LPG (G30/G31)
3. ensure that the inlet gas pressure complies with the required nominal pressure (see "Technical
data" on page 38) and that the gas flow is sufficient to guarantee the appliance correct work
with burner ON;
4. Cut off the electrical supply to the boiler.
5. On the forced draught models, open the sealed combustion chamber.
6. Remove the pipe between the gas valve and the injectors bar.
7. Remove injectors bar 3 and replace the noz-
zles 5* (see figure) with the ones suitable for
the available gas type, using a 7 mm spanner
(possibly tube spanner). The nozzles diam-
eter Ø is punched on each nozzle and should
match the value stated in the table "Technical
data" on page 38.

plied washers 4 , (that actually are copper
gaskets)

Remark:
due to the compatibility with various models, the nozzles kit could contain more nozzles
than required in this specific boiler.
8. Reassemble injectors bar and pipe, replacing gaskets. Check, with burner ON, that there are no gas
leaks. On the forced draught models, close the sealed combustion chamber;
9. Verify, with burner ignited, the inlet gas pressure (see page 26).
10. Check and if necessary adjust the gas valve maximum and minimum pressure (see page 26).
11. Check that there are no gas leaks.
12.
Apply the sticker indicating the type of gas (supplied with the kit) on the suitable area on “WARN-
ING” label inside the boiler.
