INDICATING INSTRUMENT
Tachometer
When the engine is started in cold
state or the cooling device is turned
on, the engine idle speed will surpass
1,000r/ min; after the engine working
temperature increases and the cooling
device is turned off, the engine idle
speed will be:
N6A 10FX3A PSA engine: 820±50r/min
DFM A16 engine: 750±50r/min.
The upshifting should be done for
manual transmission when the engine
speed is more than 3,000r/min.
During the running-in period, it is better
that the engine speed is no more than
4,000r/min.
The maximum engine speed should not go
within the red area.
During the vehicle driving, it is inappropriate
to have the engine run at a speed lower than
2,000r/min for a long time. The economic
engine speed is about 2,500r/min.
Speedometer
It is recommended to follow the driving
speed allowed by the traffic regulations.
The vehicle speed shall not be more
than 40km/h during cornering.
If the vehicle is travelling under traction
or in the spare mode of the automatic
transmission, the speed shall not be
more than 50km/h.
It is essential to ensure a favorable
visibility and a safe braking distance
when driving at high speed.
