SAFETY TIPS
Tips
To ensure a pleasant, comfortable and
safe journey, please note the followings:
In rainy and chilly days In rainy or foggy
days, slow down the driving, keep an
appropriate distance from the vehicle in
front (braking distance is increased due
to the slippery road), and turn on low
beam and fog lamp.
On wet road, especially when the tyre
tread height is less than 3mm, the tyre
adhesion will be decreased, when there
is stagnant water on road, slippage may
occur even the tyre is in good condition.
Replace the wiper once it fails to wipe off
the water on the window.
Take special care when the ambient
temperature is 0ºC or lower. In winter, it
is recommended to use snow tyre and
drive gently without sudden acceleration
or braking.
On road with potholes & stagnant
water
Potholed road will cause damage to
the tyre, wheel rim, chassis or driving
system. When driving on road with
stagnant water, some water may seep
into the engine to cause irreversible
damage to the engine. If water swells
suddenly and up to the underbody, do
not drive it any more but park it at a safe
place.
Lighting
Always ensure a good visibility.
A set of spare bulb, a flashlight and a
pair of sunglasses shall be reserved on
the vehicle.
For the safety of yourself and others,
the lighting devices must be in good
condition and should be adjusted
properly and kept clean.
Note:
The engine will be stopped when wading,
in the case, do not restart the engine
forcibly but seek help from Dongfeng
Franchise Store or IKCO authorized
representatives.
