SAFETY BELT
5. Pull the safety belt latch plate end
downwards and the shoulder belt
upwards at the same time to tension the
lap belt.
The lap belt should be fastened a little
bit low and just in contact with the thigh.
Therefore, in case of collision, the force
will be exerted on the relatively sturdy
pelvis and keep the body from sliding
down to the part below the lap belt. If
your body slides down below the lap
belt, you will be injured seriously or even
killed. The shoulder belt should pass
through the shoulder and cross over the
chest, since it is the most ideal part to
bear the restraint force of the safety belt.
Note:
During emergency braking, vehicle
collision or quick safety belt pulling,
the safety belt may be seized during
extension. Retract the safety belt a little
bit to reset it for normal extraction.
Safety belt height adjustment
The front passenger can adjust
the height of safety belt anchorage
according to his/her body shape. There
are five types of positioning height for
the upper anchorage of safety belt.
Move the anchorage directly to raise it.
For lowering it down, press down the
locking button to make the safety
belt upper pivot slide to the appropriate
position and then release the button.
And then, push the upper pivot up and
down to confi rm for locking or not.
Warning:
The front passenger should adjust the
safety belt only when the vehicle is
stopped.
