CHILD SAFETY LOCK AND TRUNK LID (LIFTGATE)
Trunk lid (liftgate)
There is one opening switch in the
release handle of trunk lid. To open the
trunk lid, unlock it, touch the opening
switch and lift the handle up.
To close the trunk lid, grip and pull the
trunk lid edge downwards to 3/4 of its
stroke, put your hands on the upper
surface of the trunk lid and press it down
to the limit.
Child safety latch
The child safety lock is designed for
preventing the child on the rear seat from
opening the door inside accidentally.
Each rear door is designed with a child
safety latch. Use the key to rotate the
red locking switch on the rear door
frame to the locking position; after the
door is closed, the child safety latch will
function, and the door cannot be opened
whether the vehicle is unlocked or not.
To open the latched door, unlock the
vehicle and then open the door outside.
The notch will be vertical when the child
safety lock is not in service.
Spare opening mode for trunk lid
(liftgate)
When the central locking mechanism is
faulty or powers off, the spare mode can
be applied to open the trunk lid (liftgate).
Lay down the rear seat backrest and
access to the trunk lid lock inside. Then
insert a small and long metal bar into
the spare mode activation hole above
the lock body and toggle the lock hole
rightwards (to the left side of vehicle) for
unlocking.
NOTE :
When closing the S30 trunk lid, pay attention not to make the hinge bracket held down
by the luggage; when closing the H30 and H30 CROSS liftgate, be careful not to make the liftgate
glass held down by the luggage; after closing, check whether the trunk lid and liftgate are closed
exactly. Never leave the trunk lid and liftgate open during driving.
