SAFETY BELT
The safety belt cannot function for
protection if the shoulder belt is too
loose.
The seating position is too far away from
the safety belt latch plate.
The shoulder belt should not pass
through under the arm but above the
shoulder in any cases.
Warning:
If the safety belt passes through under
the arm, you may be injured seriously,
since your body may move forwards a
lot during vehicle collision, increasing
the possibility of head and neck injury
and making most of safety belt force
applied on the rib. After all, the rib is not
as sturdy as the scapula. Besides, your
internal organs such as liver and spleen
may get hurt.
Warning:
If the position of the safety belt latch
plate is incorrect as shown, you may
be injured seriously, since the safety
belt may move upwards to your belly
during the vehicle collision, thus making
its force applied on the waist instead of
pelvis and causing serious internal injury
as well. Therefore, the safety belt latch
plate shall be as close to your body as
possible.
Warning:
If the safety belt is fastened too loosely,
you may be injured seriously, since you
may move forward substantially in case
of vehicle collision, aggravating the
injury.
The shoulder belt should fit closely
against your middle shoulder. The
safety belt is so designed that it can be
automatically locked during emergency
braking and traffic accident, preventing
you from any injury.
