Asphalt & gasoline stains on bumper
The stains should be cleared with
special cleaning agents.
Even though the vehicle adopts
corrosion resistant materials and
undergoes the anti-corrosion treatment,
after the vehicle is stopped or driven for
a period of time, especially after being
driven frequently on road unfrozen by
salt for a period of time, the engine
compartment and the body underbody
should be cleaned and protected again.
Note:
If the high pressure washing machine
is used, do not direct the sprayer to the
rubber protective parts of transmission
and steering mechanism and other
components, and do not spray directly
into the exterior trim, canopy seams,
radiator and engine compartment.
Typically, the vehicle corrosion is
resulted from the following two reasons:
Moisture accumulated in the body
holes. The sludge and antifreeze
salt in the vehicle lower gaps is more
likely to accumulate moisture to
make those parts more vulnerable to
corrosion.
The peeling off of protective paint and
protective layer in the body surface
and the underbody.
Through some simple regular
maintenance, your vehicle will be free of
corrosion:
Repair immediately in case of paint
peeling off or scratches;
Check and clean the doors and drain
holes of body underbody;
Check the humidity of the floor covers,
since the carpets and floor mats will
accumulate moisture for a long time,
especially in winter, thus causing floor
corrosion;
Clean the underbody with high pressure
spray gun but carefully protect the
ABS wheel speed sensor and wires
connected to each wheel;
The anti-corrosion coating at the vehicle
lower side should be checked and
repaired regularly.
