INTERIOR MAINTENANCE
Wipe off stains
In any cases, clear stains quickly as per
the product instructions.
In case that it is difficult to remove
the stains, contact either Dongfeng
Franchise Store or IKCO authorised
representatives.
Before clearing, it is recommended to
perform test at the less conspicuous
position or on samples.
Stains of ballpoint pen or lipstick can be
cleared by denatured alcohol.
Asphalt stains can be cleared by the
special cleaning agent.
Stains of chocolate and sugar can
be cleared by commercial ammonia
solution.
Recommendations:
Exposure to the sun for a long time
will damage the body interior; it is
recommended to install shading devices
onto the front windshield and the rear
shelf to avoid damage from UV.
Note:
Before clearing stains, the dust must be
removed firstly.
Various solvents have more or less
corrosive effect on the interior synthetic
materials, so they should be used with
caution and as little as possible.
Generally, aqueous solution with soap
and surfactant should be used whenever
possible to clear stains on fabrics or
synthetic leather. It is recommended to
use a piece of clean, soft, and wet cloth
for wiping repeatedly.
Light interior
For the light interior, pay special
attention to clearing the corresponding
material with special cleaning agent to
avoid color difference. Do not leave the
stains stuck on the interior surface for a
long time but remove them timely.
If a large area of surface stains needs
to be cleaned or subject to interior care,
have it performed either by Dongfeng

representatives or professional
automotive care center.
