TCM control module
Description
The SAN256N director control module (TCM) provides a control interface for the
SAN256N director system. The module is responsible for monitoring the general health
of the system and acting as a proxy for all external communications destined for other
modules in the system. The TCM also provides control and management of
communications, between itself and the TFIO and TSW modules, as well as the system
clock. The TCM is a critical module in the SAN256N director system, requiring a
redundant module in the system acting as a standby.
The TCM monitors the following components:
TMF/TFD upper fan
Power
Side fan
assemblies
supplies
Upper fan assemblies
distribution module
