The following should be taken into account:
- Do not modify or manipulate the control units in any way.
- Do not disconnect the connectors of the control units.
- Do not use a quick battery charger for emergency starts, as this could damage
the electronics system, and especially the control units.
- Do not subject the control units to sources of high heat (> 80 ° C). Do not install
heat-producing items or equipment in the vicinity of a control unit.
- If for any reason, a control unit has to be disassembled, an official Hyundai
service centre should be contacted to disassemble and subsequently re-
assemble the control unit correctly.
- A control unit must not be installed in a different place to the original place, nor
must any fixation system other than the original be used.
- If a control unit has received a blow or fallen, it must be checked to see that it
works properly.
