Body Builder Manual Part II, Specific Book LCV
V1.0, February 2015
The assembly between the roof subframe and the upper body can be effected
using different methods, such as welding, screwing, gluing, etc. The Body Builder
must decide which method is most suitable for the situation. It should ensure uni
-
form distribution of loads, without point loads that could weaken the structure of
the cab.
Another important requirement that must be taken into account is that the upper
body must not be fixed by bolting it to the corners of the cab structure.

The maximum permissible loads on the roof must be respected at all times.
See chapter 2.3.3 "Weight distribution".
Protection and maintenance measures must be also respected.
See chapter 3 "MAINTENANCE AND DAMAGE PREVENTION".
