If such changes are made, a number of requirements must be met:
- Cuts must only be made in the designated areas, as shown in figure.

- The original structure that has been removed should be replaced by a new
structure, such as a perimeter frame. This should ensure strength and rigidity
equal to that of the original cab. The performance of the safety belts should
not be affected by the deformation of the structure.
