Step 2 Pull out the self-overflow vent to drain water out of the water pan, and remove

the drainpipe.

Step 3 Remove the four screws that secure the beam above the water pan.

Step 4 Remove the two screws on the float sheet metal using a Phillips screwdriver and

take out the float and sheet metal.

Step 5 Remove the four wiring terminals connecting the manual and automatic reset
