Figure 7-11 Removing screws securing the fan to the bottom plate

Step 15 Install a new indoor fan in an inverse order.
Step 16 Power on the unit and tap Maint > Diagnostic Mode > Enter. Set the indoor unit

to lower speed, make sure they work properly, and then exit the Diagnostic

Mode.

Step 17 Tap Maint > Performance Maint to clear the indoor fan total runtime.

7.4.3 Replacing a Compressor

Prerequisites

Required tools: two adjustable wrenches, a torque wrench, a welding torque, a

nitrogen cylinder (to be prepared onsite), LOCTITE 554 glue (optional), a new

compressor, and a new dryer filter.

Context

When replacing a compressor, avoid skin contact with the refrigerant or lubricant

to prevent frostbite or burns.
