The
F
ederal
Communications
Commission
of
the
U.S.
gov
ernmen
t
regulates
the
radio
frequency
energy
emanated
b
y
computing
devices
through
published
regulations.
These
regulations
sp ecify
the
limits
of
radio
frequency
emission
to
protect
radio
and
television
reception.
All
HP
Ap ollo
no des
and
p eripherals
ha
v
e
b een
tested
and
comply
with
these
limits.
The
F
CC
regulations
also
require
that
computing
devices
used
in
the
U.S.
display
the
agency's
lab
el
and
that
the
related
do cumen
tation
include
the
following
statement.
W
ARNING:
This
equipmen
t
generates,
uses,
and
may
emit
radio
frequency
energy
and,
if
not
installed
and
used
in
accordance
with
these
instructions,
may
cause
in
terference
to
radio
comm
unications.
It
has
b een
tested
and
found
to
comply
with
the
limits
for
a
Class
A
computing
device
pursuan
t
to
Subpart
J
of
P
art
15
of
F
CC
Rules,
whic
h
are
designed
to
pro
vide
reasonable
protection
against
suc
h
in
terference
when
op erated
in
a
commercial
en
vironmen
t.
Op eration
of
this
equipmen
t
in
a
residen
tial
area
is
likely
to
cause
in
terference,
in
whic
h
case
the
user
at
his
o
wn
exp ense
will
b e
required
to
take
whatev
er
measures
may
b e
required
to
correct
the
in
terference.
Compliance
to
these
regulations
requires
the
use
of
shielded
cables.

Department
of
Communications
(DOC)
This
digital
apparatus
do es
not
exceed
the
Class
A
limits
for
radio
noise
emissions
from
digital
apparatus
as
set
out
in
the
Radio
In
terference
Requiremen
ts
of
the
Canadian
Departmen
t
of
Communications.
Compliance
to
these
regulations
requires
the
use
of
shielded
cables.
