6. Presentation

The ABX Micros

ES60

OT/CT, which is small in size, has 8 main parts:

◆

The electrical supply,

◆

The electronic main board,

◆

The dilution pneumatics,

◆

The control panel, including the touch screen,

◆

A reagent compartment,

◆

A printer that prints out results and distribution curves,

◆

A USB port for quality control result records and patient result records,

◆

A barcode reader (optional on ABX Micros

ES60

OT) for a direct entry of the alphanumerical

identifications.

ABX Micros

ES60

models available:

The ABX Micros

ES60

CT: this model is a "Closed Tube" unit. This unit has a blood collection tube

cap-piercing mechanism which allows the operator to place the tube directly into the analyser for
analysis, without removing the cap.

◆

The ABX Micros

ES60

OT: this model is an "Open Tube" unit. The operator must remove the cap

from the blood collection tube before analyzing any sample.

The internal barcode reader allows the reading of barcodes with a resolution
higher than or equal to 0.15mm.

◆

OT and CT are indicated in the instrument serial number that identifies the
unit and model.

◆

These models are available in pack or bottles version.
