4. Peripheral settings
4.1. Peripheral tab description
Enter menu " Maintenance\Serv.\Settings\Periph. ".
The " Periph. " tab allows to set the following device:

Barcode reader: See 4.2. Barcode reader (optional), page 6-7 .

Printer: See 4.3. Printer, page 6-7 .
4.2. Barcode reader (optional)
The " Barcode " screen allows to set the different types of barcode handled by the reader.
1- In the " Periph. " tab, press " Barcode " radio button.
2- Press " Edit " button.
3- Use arrow buttons to select barcode reader in the " Model " list. " None " is displayed by default.
4- Check " Interleaved 2 of 5 " or " Code 39 " or " Code 128 " or " Codabar " or " ISBT 128 " check box
to select the barcode type.
5- For " Interleaved 2 of 5 " or " Code 39 " types: check the corresponding " Check digit " check box
to activate/deactivate this option.
6- Press " OK " button.
4.3. Printer
4.3.1. Printer tab description
The " Printer " tab allows to select which printer will print results and settings information
(integrated or external): See 4.3.2. Printer settings, page 6-8 .
At any time, the " Cancel " button allows to cancel modifications and reset all
fields with previous values.
Use with or without check digit for Code 128, Codabar and ISBT 128 are
factory set and cannot be modified:

Code 128 is used with check digit.
◆
Codabar is used without check digit.
◆
ISBT 128 is used with check digit.
◆
User must check his printer compatibility with the ABX Micros ES60 OT/CT.
