Item Description

ETH1 and ETH2 host ports to PC applications and/or other CPMs, or other
devices.

ETH3 and ETH4 ports connect to the Ethernet ports of EPM, switch (for star
topology), or CPM.

Ethernet LED status indicators for communications functions. For more
information, see

section.

CAUTION: Do not remove or insert the Ethernet connection when
the CPM is powered unless the area is known to be non-
hazardous.

PLC-CPM mode switch

There are four mode switch positions on CPM: STOP, RUN, and two
REMOTE positions which are identical.
