This function is used for upgrading the program.
●
The program on the EZJ128 and EZJ133 boards is downloaded from the USB memory.
●
A “USB memory containing system data” is required.
●
This
function is executed with the IJ printer in “Stop” state.
● There are two ways to download the program. The effect is the same for either way.
Download method

memory with ones in the USB
memory and downloads

For precautions when replacing the EZJ128 board, r
efer to “3.2.1 EZJ128 board.”
For precautions when replacing the EZJ133
board, refer to “3.3.1 EZJ133 board.”
● Be sure to perform program download when replacing the EZJ128 and EZJ133 boards.
The boards are initialized and the program is updated by downloading. For information
concerning replacement of the EZJ133 and EZJ128 boards, refer to
“3.2.1 EZJ128 board.”
and
“3.3.1 EZJ133 board".
For information on changing to the service personnel maintenance mode, refer
to “2.1 Setting of service personnel maintenance mode.”
