The exhaust
route clogs.

The exhaust
tube of the
main ink tank
is clogged with
dried ink.

Disconnect the Drain
Tube Joint of the
main ink tank to open
the main ink tank to
the atmosphere.
(Refer to

“4.2.2 Main

Ink Tank
Replacement
Procedure”.) Hold the
Drain Tube Joint at a
high position so that
the ink does not
come out from the
drain tube. Then eject
the ink from the
nozzle and check
whether the ink
recovery from the
gutter is improved or
not.

Remove the exhaust
tube connected to the
Tube Lock (1) of the
main ink tank. (Refer
to

“4.2.2 Main Ink

Tank Replacement
Procedure”). Inject
makeup into the
exhaust tube and
wash inside.
When the fault is not
recovered, replace
the exhaust tube.
