(2) Connect the generator connecting wires.

(1) Set the generator belt at position so as to make
sure that the belt wedge teeth fit well with the pulley
wedge slot. See Fig. 11-3-15.

(2)  Turn  the  tension  pulley  with  a  tool  till  the
generator  belt  is  loose  enough  and  then  fit  the
accessory  flat  idle  wheel  into  the  belt.  Make  sure
there is no excessive tension or insufficient tension.

After the installation, check the generator belt to

make sure the belt wedge teeth fit well with the
pulley wedge slot.

(1) Inserting the generator harness plug

Hold the generator harness plug and insert it into
the harness connector.

(2) Connecting the generator terminal

Install the generator harness onto the terminal, and
tighten the fastening nut according to specified
torque.
