Removing the cylinder head assembly

(1) Remove the clamp at the connecting joint of the
EGR condenser water outlet pipe and the EGR
condenser.
(2) Remove the clamp at the connection of the oil cooler
water inlet pipe and outlet pipe component.
(3) Pull out the vacuum connecting hose from the
vacuum pump.
(4) Remove the cylinder head assembly: loosen orderly
the 10 bolts (M11×1.5×162) for fastening cylinder head
and cylinder body. See Fig. 5-9-12.
(5) Take off the cylinder head and the cylinder head
gasket from the cylinder body.
Warning:
If the cylinder head bolts are not orderly
unscrewed in separated times, the lower surface of the
cylinder head might be damaged.
Check the cylinder head gasket. It must be
replaced if burned, deformed or lacking elasticity.
Removing the vacuum pump assembly

(1) Pull out the vacuum connecting hose from the
vacuum pump.
(2) Remove the 2 hexagon flange face bolts (M6×20)
connecting the vacuum pump and cylinder head flange.
See Fig. 5-9-13.
(3) Remove the vacuum pump assembly from the rear
end of the cylinder head exhaust camshaft.
Removing the valve spring and the valve

(1) Compress the valve spring and remove the valve
lock clamp with a special tool.
Valve spring compressor: 9-8523-1423-0.
(2) Take off the valve spring seat, the valve spring and
the valve.
Prompt:
Place the removed valves properly according
to the valve number.
