Getting Started with the Card’s Web-based Configuration Interface
Card Upgrade when Another Application is Currently Running on the Card
5 Verify that the software version to be installed is the right one. If the wrong software
package has been uploaded to the card, click Clear File to remove the uploaded
package from the card. Otherwise, click Start Upgrade .
Once the software upgrade complete, the card reboots. The software is added to /
updates the Applications list. Applications must be licensed before use. See
Applications Panel , on page 274.
6 Ensure the XIP-3901-JPEG-XS application is licensed. See Activating an Application , on
page 274.
Card Upgrade when Another Application is Currently Running on the Card
When a non-XIP-3901-JPEG-XS application is currently running on the card, you need to
first change the card’s application to the XIP-3901-JPEG-XS application and then upgrade
the card’s firmware.
Proceed as follows.
1 If the XIP-3901-JPEG-XS application has never been installed on the card, you need to
Install the XIP-3901-JPEG-XS application through the Densité Update Manager (DUM)
using a DUM package. See Card Upgrade with iControl Solo , on page 61.
2 Change the card’s current application to XIP-3901-JPEG-XS. See Application Panel , on
page 235.
3 Connect to the card’s configuration interface. See Connecting to the XIP - 3901 Card’s
Configuration Interface , on page 237.

Shows the currently-installed firmware version for the application awaiting installation.
Package
version
Shows the package version of the uploaded package that is awaiting installation.
