Tone

Enables test signals at the card’s output:

•

Video:

Generate a video test pattern. On HD Video outputs, this will generate a 75%

color bar with 75% white. On 3G, Quad Link 3G and 12G Video outputs, test pattern

will follow the format setting. In the XIP-3901 UC only, the 75% color bar is inserted as

3G/HD SDI and upconverted to 12G/3G/Quad Link 3G.

•

Audio:

Generate a 1 KHz sine wave at -18dBFS on all audio channel outputs:

Continuous tone on right channel; pulsed tone on left channel of every pair (250 ms

pulse every 3 seconds).
Audio inserted on Quad Link 3G - link 1 only.

•

Metadata:

blank except for Video Payload ID (Transfer Characteristic, Colorimetry, and

Bit depth) on SDI output.
