Detail Enhancer Tab
Property Description
Enable Set to enable vertical and horizontal enhancement adjustment. The below settings can be
adjusted, but they will only be applied when Enable is set.
Mode Select the particular frequency band to be enhanced:
High: Boost the high frequency content of the input signal.
Medium: Boost the medium frequency content of the input signal.

Set the amount of horizontal detail enhancement to be applied to the video signal.
TIP: Use restraint and only make minor adjustments.
Vertical Detail
Enhancer
Set the amount of vertical detail enhancement to be applied to the video signal.
The Vertical Enhancer adjustment ranges from a
soft range (negative values) to a max
intensity The Vertical Enhancer adjustment ranges from a soft range (negative values) to a
max intensity sharper (positive values): It is not usual practice to want to make pictures
softer than the source. However, in some circumstances this is a requirement.
For example, when an ultra-sharp high definition content is to be down-converted, the
high frequency content of the source may cause aliasing in the downconverted output. By
softening the processed pictures, the aliasing can be reduced or eliminated.
TIP: Use restraint and only make minor adjustments.
