XIP­3901 - JPEG - XS Application
The XIP-3901-JPEG-XS is an application for the reprogrammable software-defined platform
XIP-3901 that supports multiple channel of HD & UHD encoding/decoding between 2110-
20 uncompressed video and 2110-22 high quality compressed video using the JPEG-XS
standard. The application provides low latency encoding side while an optional ST-2110
streams alignment is available on the decoding side to match production studio
equipment top of frame reference requirement if needed.
This solution offers a bridge between remote contribution network and core production
network using ultra-low latency encoding and decoding to efficiently manage network
bandwidth over long distance.
Combined with JPEG-XS enabled LDX Cameras, IPVU and GV Orbit, GV remote-integration
model reduce the movement of people and equipment; increase the utilization of kit;
reduce on-site setup times and maximize the efficient of production teams.
