Applications Panel
This panel is used to activate or switch between applications. It shows all the applications
on the platform, their respective versions, whether their license keys have been activated,
and which one is currently

Until an application has been activated, the SDI / IP outputs will be inactive. Although the
settings can be adjusted for an application, the effects will only become apparent when the
license key has been activated.
Activating an Application
1 Call Grass Valley at the number displayed at the bottom of the panel and provide your
serial number to receive a license key.
2 In the License column for the application, enter the license key and click
Activate
.

Once an application has been activated, it cannot be deactivated.

Set the name by which channels 1 to n will be easily recognized by a person working with
this card in a control system such as GV Orbit. This also changes the name for this channel
in the Status Icons. See Section 1: Status Dashboard , on page 243.
