Legalizer Tab
Legalizer Tab
The Legalizer ensures that the output video stays within the legal RGB gamut limit, making
it suitable for the broadcast signal chain.
The XIP
- 3901 - UDC - IF’s Input/Output Panel, Legalizer tab configuration is the same as the
XIP - 3901 - UDC - IP’s Video Panel, Legalizer tab configuration; see Legalizer Tab , on page 145.
Receivers Panel
When the XIP - 3901 - UDC-AUD option is installed, it adds four SMPTE ST 2110-30/31 IP
audio input streams per processing channel, and provides 256 channel audio processors
with level, delay, and up/down mixing. To install the XIP - 3901 - UDC-AUD option, see
Options Panel , on page 166. See also Optional XIP - 3901 - UDC - IF Application Audio
processing, Down/Up Mix, Shuffling , on page 29 for the feature overview for this licensed
option.
The
Receivers panel has two tabs ( UDC1 and UDC2 ); one for each of XIP - 3901 - UDC - IF’s
independent processing channels. The configuration of the UDC2 tab is the same as the
UDC1 tab. Only the configuration of the UDC1 tab is shown below.
This panel is available when the card’s Operating Mode in the Factory Presets panel is set
to the SDI and IP Hybrid option. See Setting the Card’s Operating Mode , on page 169 for
more information.
Config Tab
This tab allows you to configure the expected source media’s audio channels, stream
address, port, and IGMPv3 source. The receivers are ST 2110-30 (
Audio 1
,
Audio 2
,
Audio 3
,
and Audio 4 ). All audio receivers can join streams of up to 64 audio channels. Audio 1 is the
only one that can process all 64 audio channels. Audio 2 to 4 will process audio channels 1
to 16 and ignore audio channels 17 to 64.
Statuses confirm that the RTP stream is successfully streaming.
