3.02 Control Panel - Computer Controller

Fire Extinguisher
Manual Activation Pull
Pulling this handle activates the fire extinguishing system. In the event of accidental
fire, the fire suppression system is automatically activated; the Manual Pull is a only
back-up alternative.

E.A.C. Status
[ON]
The [ON] light is ON to indicate that the Electronic Air Cleaner (E.A.C.) is powered
and functioning normally. This is the only E.A.C. Status light which should be ON
during normal operation.

E.A.C. Status
[CHECK/WASH]
When these two (2) lights are ON , the E.A.C. Collector Cell has stopped functioning.
It is either excessively dirty, has poor contact, is not positioned properly, is damaged
or shorted, or the E.A.C. power supply has failed. Approx. 2 minutes after the lights
turn ON , power to the heating elements is turn OFF .
IMPORTANT! Do not rely on these lights as the signal for routine cleaning; the
E.A.C. Cell must be cleaned daily to maintain peak performance.
4 Computer Controller
Computer Cooking Controller ... set cooking temperature and cook times ... controls
and monitors fryer functions ... displays alarm conditions and operational
instructions. Stores fifty (50) programmable Menu Item presets.
4.1 Function Keys Keys activate various Controller functions.
4.2 Controller Keypad
Enter menu numbers, time & temp values, start or cancel features, etc. Keys [2] - [4]
- [6] - [8] act as arrow keys for various Fryer functions.
5 Power Indicator Light The Green Power Light is on whenever the Power Switch is in the [ON] position.
6 Heat Indicator Light
The Amber Heat Indicator Light will be ON when the heating elements are
energized. When the setpoint temperature is reached, the light will turn OFF . This
light cycles ON and OFF during normal operation as the Controller regulates cooking
temperature.
7 High-Limit Indicator
The Red Hi-Limit Indicator turns ON to signal an over-heating condition and that
power to the heating elements has been turn OFF by the safety thermostat. Should
this light come ON, discontinue cooking until the cause is determined.
8 Selector Switch
Selects operational mode; [COOK] , [OFF] or [FILTER PUMP] . Heating elements will
only operate when switch is in the [COOK] position. Placing the switch in the
[FILTER PUMP] position turns ON the pump for circulating oil during the filtering
process, or for discharging waste oil from the Fryer for disposal.
9 Power Switch
The Power Switch is a two-position Switch. Place switch in the [ON] position for
operation.
