Installation

The

WOG-MP-VH

is equipped with a 3-way Diverter Stack, which deflects exhaust air to the sides and rear, thus it

requires 0” [0 mm] clearance from the top of the diverter stack to the ceiling. Some clearance. 3 to 6” [76 to 152

mm], is recommended to allow for ease of movement for cleaning or service.

The fire suppression system used in the WOG-MP-VH Ventless Hood unit is an

Ansul® R-102 Restaurant Fire

Suppression System (UL-197 Listed)

Final field set-up, testing, charging and arming of the system must be

performed by an authorized Ansul Distributor/Dealer in accordance with the system listing.

The fire suppression system is designed and UL-listed to provide fire protection for the

WOG-MP-VH

. It a

mechanically activated system and automatically provides full-time protection of the appliance (24 hours per day).

The system includes piping, Automan release mechanism, nozzles (appliance & plenum), detector link brackets,

cable conduit and a 1-1/2 gal wet chemical suppressant tank.
