Useful functions
Before navigation begins you will be presented with a window in which
you can choose between a Multi-Stop route or the current route.
►
Tap on Multi-Stop route to have the system calculate a route with
the necessary charging stops.
Note:
If the destination of the Multi-Stop route is not saved as a public
or private charging station, you will be asked at the beginning of the
navigation whether you can charge your vehicle there (see "Saving the
destination of a Multi-Stop route as a private charging station" on
page 102).
Note:
The calculation of a Multi-Stop route can take far longer than the
calculation of a normal route.
Note:
If there is only a sparse network of charging stations in the region
in which you are travelling, it may be impossible to calculate a Multi-
Stop route.
If you have entered a complete address or a POI as destination, you
can also define whether your vehicle can be charged there. For more
details refer to the chapter "Private charging stations" on page 102.
Traffic information
If a new traffic message concerning the Multi-Stop route arises while
navigation is in progress, the Traffic information button will appear at
the right edge of the screen. This traffic message will be treated in
automatic mode (see "Preview TMC" in the section "Recalculate route:
Automatically" on page 106).
10.16.2 Driving range warning
Note:
This function is available only when:
►
GPS reception is good enough for positioning purposes
►
the navigation device is correctly inserted in its cradle.
►
the vehicle ignition is on.
►
range warning was activated in the settings.
The system continuously calculates the current range and warns if there
will be only a small driving range remaining when you arrive at the
destination, at the next interim destination or at the next charging
station.
Note:
The remaining driving range can be viewed at any time in the
T
RIP COMPUTER
window.
►
In the
S
TART
window tap on Car info > Trip computer (see also "Trip
computer" on page 112).
