The
Final setpoint of automatic program selection will use the final set point value programmed on the end
step of the program as the control set point when the program ends. The event status will be set to the previous
static event selections that were used prior to program operation. If the program is stopped prior to reaching
the end step, the control set point and event status will both be set to the previous static set point and event
selections that were used prior to program operation.
The
Current control setpoint selection will return the control set point and event status to the previous static
set point and event selections that were used prior to program operation. If the program is stopped prior to
completing normally, the control set point and event status will also return to the previous static values.
The
Setpoint and events of last step selection will leave the control set point and event status at the values
set in the last step of the program prior to the end step. If the program is stopped prior to completing normally,
the control set point and event status will remain at the current values of the step the program was stopped on.
4.2.33 Power Fail Recovery
The Power Fail Recovery entry is used to select the desired mode of operation of the loop control when power
is restored if an automatic ramp/soak program was running at the time power was lost. The recovery selections
are mutually exclusive, i.e., selecting one will turn off the others. Once the desired recovery mode has been
selected, press the “Done” button to set the power recovery mode and return to the main Loop Configuration
screen.
NOTE: This selection is common to all loops and can also be made via the runtime application on the
“Recovery” screen in offline settings. For additional information regarding the manner in which
program recovery is achieved, see the Appendix section
