IMPORTANT: If set point 2 is configured as an actual set point, it will override the set point defined by the
operating ramp/soak program. If set point 2 is defined as a deviation, the offset will be
continuously applied to the set point defined by the operating program.
If the loop is not under program control, the offset will be applied to each user set point entry.
Once the event input is deactivated, disabling set point 2, the loop would then operate under
the value of the last user set point entered (or the actual set point defined by the operating
program).
5.5.1.3 Historical Minimum and Maximum
The MCTB monitors and stores the minimum and maximum process value reached during operation for each
loop in the system as well as the limit if configured. The current historical values can be viewed by pressing
the process value display field for the desired loop or limit.
Pressing the “OK” button will close the dialog window and return to the Loop view screen. The historical values
are reset each time the runtime application is started and can also be manually cleare
d by pressing the “PV”
tag on the Loop view screen.
Pressing the “Yes” button in the dialog window will reset historical minimum and maximum values and default
them both to the current process value. Pressing “No” will simply close the dialog.
