Beam1 - Beam 5 menus
The [Beam 1] menu has the settings for "Std" and "Deep Mode" for beam 1. ("Beam
2" to "Beam 5" contain the same items. The table below shows the values at which the
system switches between [Std] and [Deep Mode].
[Deep Mode 2]
See [Deep Mode 1] for description of [Frequency Sweep Width],
[TX Pulse] and [TX Cycle]. [TRX Start Range]: Sets the depth at
which to start the deep mode in [Deep Mode 2]. Inoperative when
simultaneous transmission by multiple beams is turned off.

Range] setting in the [TX/RX] menu.
[Std] settings are used.

[TX Power]
When using more than one fish finder with the same frequency, in
close proximity, interference can occur. To reduce the interference,
you can reduce the transmission power by lowering this setting. To
disable this fish finder, set this setting to [Off]. To display the sea-
bed as best as possible, set the power level to [Auto].
Set the TX frequency to use. Shift the frequency slightly if
[TX Freq]
Sets the TX frequency. Shift the frequency slightly when interfer-
ence from other sonars or fish finders occur.
[TX Pulse]
Set the transmission pulse width (setting range: 0.3 to 26.0 * msec).
The smaller the value, the higher the detection resolution, but the
shorter the detection distance. On the other hand, increasing the
value lowers the detection resolution, but increases the detection
distance.
* When [Simul. TX] in the [TX/RX] menu is set to [Auto] or [On], the
maximum TX pulse length is 5.0.
[Envelope Edge
Width]
Suppresses interference to acoustic equipment such as fish finders
and scanning sonars, etc. (your own and others).
