2.3.2
Horizontal target graph
The [Horizontal Target Graph] mode gives a view of fish echoes in the stern direction.
The depth at which the echoes were detected and the distribution is displayed, making
this mode ideal for estimating the type of fish.
To show the [Horizontal Target Graph], do the following:
1. Click the [Graph] icon (
) from the InstantAccess bar™ to show the [Graph]
menu.
2. Click the [Target Graph] icon (
) followed by the [Horizontal Target Graph]
icon(
). The icon changes to a green color and the [Horizontal Target Graph] ap-
pears.
To close the graph, click the [Close Window] icon ( ), or click the graph icon.

How to change the graph scale (target graphs only)
To change the target graph scale, do the following:
1. With either the vertical or horizontal target graph
displayed, click the scale button (
) at the top-left
corner of the graph to show the [Target Graph]
window.
2. Click the [Scale] value to show the setting adjust-
ment buttons (
). Decrease or increase the scale as required. The available
range is 2° to 8° from directly below own ship. A larger setting gives a wider de-
tection area.
3. Click [OK].

Measurement area:
The measurement area in the
graph changes shape according
to measuring range.
Graph scale
(degrees)
Echoes detected from the last three
scans are shown in the graph. Echo
colors range from green (weak) to red
(strong).
