3. Tie the fishing lines of the remaining
two fishing rods to the standard
sphere. Use a "figure-eight" knot to tie
the fishing lines.
Note:
Do not use a joining tool like a
swivel.
4. If the tide speed is high and it is diffi-
cult to tie the standard sphere, attach
a weight below the standard sphere.
Install the weight at least 10 m away
from the sphere.
5. Put seawater and surface-activating
agent into the bucket.
6. Soak the standard sphere in the solu-
tion prepared at step 5 to prevent air
bubbles and dirt from adhering to the
sphere. Avoid touching the sphere as
much as possible.
7. Lower the standard sphere to the bot-
tom of the ship, being careful not to
tangle the fishing line. During the low-
ering, be careful not to apply tension
to the fishing line of the #1 fishing rod. Also, be careful not to rub the fishing line
of the #1 fishing rod against the bottom of the boat.
