Bottom Information Graphs
There are two bottom information graphs, the hardness graph and the roughness
graph. The graphs can be displayed together or alone. The graphs can only be shown
on the split beam display.
2.6.1
Hardness graph
The [Hardness Graph] plots the estimated seabed hardness as a solid line graph (line
color: white) along the bottom of the screen. The graph indicates estimated composi-
tion, such as rocks or gravel, which can be useful for finding a seabed type preferred
by targeted fish.
To show the [Hardness Graph], do the following:
1. Click the [Graph] icon (
) from the InstantAccess bar™ to show the [Graph]
menu.
2. Click the [Bottom Information] icon (
) followed by the [Hardness Graph] icon
(
). The icon changes to a green color and the [Hardness Graph] appears.
To hide the hardness graph, click the "Graph" icon on the Instant Access Bar™, then
click the "Bottom Information Graph" and "Hardness Graph" icons.
