At this point, the settings are not yet reflected to the [Calibration Setting] window.
10. Click the [Apply] button on the [Calibration Setting] window.
The items set at step 8 are now reflected to the [Calibration Setting] window.
11. Select automatic or manual calibration, referring to the descriptions below.
•
Manual calibration
: Manually send and receive and measure with the standard
sphere to obtain the calibration value of the corresponding section. However,
you need to move the standard sphere manually during calibration.
•
Automatic calibration
: Automatically send and receive and measure with
standard sphere to get the calibration values, in the order of the calibration sec-
tion number (no need to move the standard sphere).
For automatic calibration, put a checkmark in the checkbox for [Auto Calibration]
on the [Calibration Setting] window.
[Standard Sphere Diameter]
Sets the diameter of the standard sphere (Setting range: 0.1 to
100.0 (mm)).
[Number of Calibration Informa-
tion]
Sets the measurement value acquisition count (threshold). (Set-
ting range: 1 to10 (ping)).
[Number of Standard Spheres]
The number of echoes recognized as a single unit is taken as ac-
tual measurement value information for calibration.(1 or 2).
• When set to [1]: There are two detection results within the cal-
ibration range. Use the results from the shallower calculation.
• When set to [2]: There are two detection results within the cal-
ibration range. determine the calibration value from each re-
sult. If only one result is available, calibrate with that data.
[Calibration Section]
Selects the calibration section.
• [Standard Section]: Calibration is performed in each section.
• [One Section]: Calibration is performed over the entire area.
