2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press

left button

The [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS] menu appears.

3. Select [SET GOTO METHOD], then press the

left button

4. Select [ONE POINT] or [100 POINTS] as ap-

propriate, then press the

left button

.

[ONE POINT]: Set only one quick point as a
destination.
[100 POINTS]: Set 100 quick points as a route
to the destination.

5. Close the menu.

How to set the quick point

Note:

The following procedures can be operated only when the setting of [ROUTE SE-

LECT] is set as [IN].

1. Press the

MENU

key to open the [MAIN MENU].

2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the

left button

.

3. Select [SET GOTO METHOD], then press the

left button

.

4. Select [ONE POINT], then press the

left button

. (Refer to "How to select the set-

ting method of quick points" on page 5-38).

5. Press the

CURSOR ON/OFF

key if the cursor is not shown.

6. Move the cursor to the location to input the quick point, then press

GO TO

key.

Quick point is set. This quick point is named as “QP<001” and a light blue line will
be drawn between own ship and quick point. This line shows the shortest course
to the point and the arrow marks on the line shows the direction of own ship to-
wards the point. The distance, bearing and TTG (factory default) will be displayed
